What is RSS?
RSS stands for ?really simple syndication.? On your computer, you use a program called an RSS aggregator or reader to subscribe to your favorite websites (RSS programs are easily downloadable - see below). Your RSS program checks your subscriptions periodically to see if there?s anything new on these websites. It displays one-line summaries of new updates that easily can be scanned, and if you are interested, you click on the summary to view the contents on the website. Best of all, it can all be free.
Why RSS?
There are alot of ways to get your information these days. If you find yourself spending alot of time surfing the web, RSS is a timesaver. With an RSS program, you subscribe to your favorite websites, and a browser screen alerts you with any updates.
